One Bite at a Time!
I know – it’s a silly children’s saying – but it is true. The best way to accomplish a BIG goal, or complete a BIG project, is truly to take it one step at a time.
A few months ago I shared with you my journey to becoming a Certified Organizer Coach. This was a BIG, HUGE goal of mine. In addition to this certification – I was also pursuing the Associate Certified Coach Certification (ACC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF).
AND . . . I’m happy (OK – THRILLED!) to report that I accomplished this goal.
When I was just starting out on my journey to become a coach – the task truly looked insurmountable.
- How would I ever get from “let me just tell you what to do” to a place of “coaching”?
- How would I ever finish all the course work – and run a business?
- How would I ever coach enough clients to qualify for the certification?
- How would I ever find a large enough block of time to complete the online application?
The answer . . . ONE BITE AT A TIME!
Truly . . . one action step, followed by another action step, followed by another action step. Solid focused work – every week – for 2 years.
When you break a goal down into little steps – ANYTHING is possible! (I’m living proof!)
