If I told you that you could have a stress-free and productive end of the year – what would that mean to you?
What does a stress-free and productive end of the year entail?
- What activities would you do?
- What projects would you complete?
- How would you feel?
Over the next few weeks I will share some strategies to help reduce your stress during the end of this year.
The first step – is to define success.
What does a stress-free end of the year look like to you?
When asked, most of my clients will answer “YES” to at least two of the following questions:
- Do you feel your days are full? If you could “add another hour to your day” would you want to?
- Do you have more business responsibilities at the end of the month, quarter, and / or year?
- Do you have more personal responsibilities at the end of the year?
If we already feel super busy, then we add in more business and personal responsibilities – no wonder the end of the year can be stressful.
Instead of feeling boxed in by the stress, start to define your success.
What are the elements of a stress-free end of the year?
Write down your answers and continue to add to this list throughout the next week. We can only hit what we are aiming at. When it comes to a stress-free year end, what are you aiming at?
My goal over the next few weeks is to provide you with a framework and some strategies to help you create a stress-free and productive end of the year. Be sure to stop back next week for Step #2 – Examine Your Reality.
Please post below – what does a stress-free and productive end of the year look like?

Good advice! To me, a stress-free and productive end of the year would be: enjoying God’s presence and the presence of my loved ones and sharing Christ’s love with everyone I meet everywhere I go every chance I get.
Great vision, Urailak! Thanks for your comment!
Stress-free year end, BRING IT ON!!! How about a relieving a broken heart by the year’s end? Ha! That would be lovely!
Best of luck, GiGi. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
A stress free and successful year for me would look like this: I’d have a good start to writing my memoirs, a cleaned up bedroom, and time to do my arts and crafts. Also, I’d have time to go snowshoeing with my friends. I would sing in the choir that I want to sing in.
All would be good.
And I need to earn some money because gardening time is over! Not sure how to go about that because my journalism career is mostly dead…
